There are mixed reports on what we should expect of our economy, but overall things are looking bright, with consumer confidence at its highest level since February 2008, at 76.2 percent, up from 9 in April. Unemployment is at a four year low, and the stock market is rocketing, in part through artificial efforts of the central bank to minimize interests on loans. Unsurprisingly, those most confident with the economy were those earning $50,000 or more, since the stock market affects them more, and their confidence went up from 85.3 percent to 95.1 percent. Those earning between $15,000 and $24,999 rose only from 52.6 percent to 55.9 percent, and those earning $25,000 to $34,000 lost a little confidence from 59.8 to 57.9.
